I read this after reading your blog and think it fits right in:

"Prayer is the first step to meeting any challenge.
'However, the report went around concerning Him all the more; and great multitudes came together to hear, and to be healed by him of their infirmities. So He Himself often withdrew into the wilderness and prayed.' (Luke 5:15-16)"

I think the same can be said about diving into God's word for strengthening. Good thoughts Reed.

I think that this was a great decision Reed. I know that when we start trying to be closer to God, things seem to "happen" that end up challenging us, usually in a way that we don't even notice until it is too late. So again, Good on you! or should I say God on you!
